Delete Your Data

Last updated: 6 September 2026
Forge stores all of your workout data locally on your device. There are no accounts and no cloud copies, so deleting the data on your device removes it completely.

Delete specific entries in the app

To remove individual workouts, sets, or exercises, open the item inside Forge and use the delete option. This lets you clear parts of your history without removing everything.

Delete all Forge data (keep the app)

To erase all your data while keeping Forge installed, clear the app's storage from your device settings:

  1. Open your device Settings.
  2. Go to Apps (or "Apps & notifications") and select Forge.
  3. Tap Storage (or "Storage & cache").
  4. Tap Clear storage / Clear data and confirm.

This permanently deletes all workouts, exercises, measurements, and settings stored by Forge on that device.

Delete everything by uninstalling

Uninstalling Forge removes the app and all of its locally stored data from your device:

  1. Press and hold the Forge icon on your home screen or app drawer.
  2. Choose Uninstall and confirm.
Please note: Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. If you want to keep your history, create a backup/export from within the app before clearing data or uninstalling. If you have device-level backups enabled (e.g. Android Auto Backup), you may also want to remove any stored backup through your device or Google account settings.
