Help & Support
Frequently asked questions
How do I log a workout?
Open Forge, pick the exercise you want to train (or add a new one), and enter your weight and reps for each set. Cardio and bodyweight exercises are logged the same quick way. Your entry is saved to today's session automatically.
How do I add a custom exercise?
Go to the exercise list and choose "Add exercise". Give it a name, pick a category or muscle group, and choose how it's measured (for example weight & reps, or distance & time). It's then available whenever you train.
Where is my data stored? Is it private?
All of your data is stored locally on your device. Forge has no accounts and does not upload your workouts to any server, so your training history stays private to you. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Does Forge need an internet connection?
No. Forge is fully offline. You can log and review your workouts anywhere, including at the gym with no signal.
How do I back up or move my data to a new phone?
Use the export/backup option in the app to create a backup file, then transfer that file to your new device and import it. Because data lives on-device, we recommend making a backup periodically and before switching phones.
I switched phones and my data is gone. Can it be recovered?
Forge data does not sync to the cloud, so it doesn't transfer automatically. It can only be restored from a backup file you created. If you didn't make one, we're unfortunately unable to recover it.
How do I see my progress and personal records?
Open any exercise to see its history and progress chart, along with your best sets. The training calendar gives you an overview of every session and your consistency over time.
How do I delete my data?
You're always in control. Follow the steps on our Data Deletion page to clear some or all of your Forge data.
Forge crashed or something isn't working. What should I do?
First, make sure you're on the latest version from Google Play. If the problem continues, email support@izanamiarts.com with your device model, Android version, and a description of what happened.
