This Privacy Policy explains how Forge ("the app", "we", "us"), a workout log application published by Izanami Arts, handles your information. By using Forge, you agree to this policy.

The short version: Forge works entirely on your device. It has no user accounts and does not require you to sign in. We do not collect, transmit, sell, or share your personal data.

1. Information We Collect

Forge does not collect personal information. The data you create in the app — such as exercises, workout sets, weights, reps, cardio entries, body measurements, notes, and app settings — is stored locally on your device only.

We do not require a name, email address, phone number, or any account to use Forge.

2. How Your Data Is Stored

All of your workout data is saved in Forge's local storage on your device. It is not uploaded to our servers, because Forge does not operate servers that receive your workout data. If you uninstall the app or clear its data, this information is permanently deleted (unless you have made your own backup or export).

3. Device Backups

If you have enabled system-level backups on your device (for example, Android Auto Backup or a manual export you create yourself), a copy of your Forge data may be included in that backup. Those backups are controlled by you and your device/operating-system provider, not by Forge.

4. Permissions

Forge only requests the device permissions needed for the features you use — for example, access to storage in order to export or import a backup file that you initiate. Forge does not request access to your contacts, location, camera, or microphone for tracking purposes.

5. Analytics and Advertising

Forge does not include third-party advertising and does not sell your data. Any diagnostic or crash information that may be provided through the Google Play platform is handled according to Google Play's policies and is not personally identifiable to us.

6. Children's Privacy

Forge is a general-audience fitness utility and is not directed at children under 13. Because we do not collect personal data, we do not knowingly collect information from children.

7. Data Deletion

Because your data lives on your device, you are always in control of it. You can delete all Forge data at any time by clearing the app's data or uninstalling the app. See our Data Deletion page for step-by-step instructions.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of Forge after changes means you accept the updated policy.
